Tenants, pricing, security, compliance, and getting started — the questions that come up most. Can't find yours?
Getting started
A multi-tenant arrears management platform for South African municipalities, collection agencies, individual collectors and corporate portfolios — built on the iCollectPRO reference deployment. Each tenant runs on its own isolated workspace. See the overview →
Five tenant types: municipality, collection agency, individual collector, collection firm, and corporate entity. Each gets the same platform, structured around how that kind of operation actually works. Compare tenant types →
It runs through defined stages — plan selection, feature configuration, admin setup, branding, client entity creation, a debt book import, and testing — before a tenant goes live. Timing depends on how much of that you have ready; your onboarding contact will give you a straight answer once we know your setup.
Yes. Trial is one of the formal tenant lifecycle stages (Prospect → Onboarding → Trial → Active), so you're working in the real platform before committing, not a stripped-down sandbox.
Tenants & data structure
The top-level, fully isolated organisation on the platform. Every login, API key, and debtor record belongs to exactly one tenant. See the full data model →
A tenant can hold one client entity (a municipality collecting its own book) or several (an agency serving multiple municipalities). Entities inside the same tenant stay separated from each other in reporting and access.
The imported set of accounts, balances and arrears for one client entity — the actual working ledger a collector operates against.
No. The active-tenant context is checked on every request, and an invalid or unassigned tenant returns a 403 — there's no fallback path to global data. See how isolation is enforced →
Yes — multi-entity support is part of the Business plan and above. Compare plans →
Pricing & plans
Starter (R5,000/month), Professional (R10,000/month), Business (R25,000/month) and Enterprise (R50,000/month, with negotiated limits and custom integrations). Setup is free on every plan. See the full breakdown →
Setup, subscription, usage, per-account, per-seat and add-on fees are all billed centrally by the platform rather than fixed for public listing — talk to us for a quote against your own book size.
Yes. Plan and feature entitlement changes are handled centrally without needing a new deployment.
The tenant moves to a Past Due state and, if unresolved, Suspended — both are audited lifecycle transitions, not a silent lockout.
Security & compliance
Yes — tenant-level data isolation, retention rules, access logging and data-subject workflows are built into the platform. See the POPIA breakdown →
Section 116 mandate status, expiry, and dual sign-off from the Accounting Officer and CFO are tracked per client entity. Read the MFMA page →
Debt review status and prescription are checked on an account before a collector can act, alongside Section 129/130 notice procedures. Read the NCR page →
The architecture supports South African deployment by default and avoids unnecessary cross-border movement of debtor data.
iCollectPRO is a standalone SaaS platform, so it can be procured through whichever route your supply chain policy requires, including a SITA-mediated process. Read the SITA page →
Platform & features
Seven stages: Book Ingestion → Segment & Score → Soft Collections → Negotiation & PTP → Pre-Legal Escalation → Legal Handover → Resolved. See every stage →
Seven tenant-scoped agent roles — Collections, PTP, SLA, Communication, Data Quality, Portfolio Analyst, and Collector Assistant — each permission-checked exactly like a human user, never crossing tenant lines.
Yes — debtors verify with an account number and ID/mobile, then receive a PIN by SMS. It's part of the Communications feature set.
Yes — TransUnion, Experian and XDS for tracing, risk scoring, and affordability checks. See our data partners →
Yes, from the Business plan up, for integrating with your own finance or ERP systems.
